Dental clinics manage their finances with paper notebooks and scattered spreadsheets — leading to missed supplier payments, lost track of equipment installment plans, and no real visibility into monthly cash flow. Generic budgeting apps like Mint or YNAB aren't built for a clinic's specific workflow: beneficiary categorization, installment tracking for medical equipment, and reminders tied to the clinic's operational rhythm.
I built MyDentalFin, a mobile-first app that centralizes clinic finances in one clean interface: beneficiary management, one-time or installment payment plans, a color-coded payment calendar, automated reminders, and a searchable transaction history. Every category, workflow, and screen was designed around real clinic operations, not adapted from a personal-finance template.

Studied real dental clinic financial workflows to define beneficiary categories, installment patterns, and reminder needs.
Designed the full UI/UX system in Figma — 8 core screens built for non-tech-savvy dentists, with generous typography and 4-tab navigation.
Built a Node.js/Express API on PostgreSQL with Sequelize, paired with a React Native + Expo app styled with NativeWind.
Tested against real clinic payment scenarios, deployed the backend on Render, and shipped a free MVP for iOS & Android.
